Grade and/or Pay Scale: £30,045- £31,620 (S02)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Daylight is a service for Adults with Learning Disabilities. The people who use the service have a wide variety of needs and abilities: some have sensory impairments and physical disabilities, some are on the Autistic spectrum and use our small specialist unit, some have behaviours that challenge the service; all are developing or maintaining skills that promote their independence and social inclusion.
Daylight offers opportunities by providing activities that are chosen by the people who use the service to reach their goals in group and one-to-one sessions, on-site and in the community. The service is currently open 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, but these days and times may change in the future.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join Daylight as a team leader. You will be managing a team of staff who will be supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have additional physical support needs. We are looking for someone who can lead the development of the quality service and also be part of the management team at Daylight.
Excellent communication skills, experience of working with people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and an understanding of diversity issues are essential. This post will require you to undertake a satisfactory enhanced level, Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Clearance.
