The Environmental Health department at Breckland Council has recently been restructured. As a result an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced EHO to take the lead on food safety matters. Based in the Food and Health & Safety team you will lead 5 professional staff carrying out the full range of food safety and regulatory advisory work. This post offers an excellent first step into management for the right person.
The successful applicant must possess a degree in Environmental Health and be EHRB registered. Proven post qualification experience in food safety is essential and experience in health and safety would be advantageous. Management experience is desirable however not essential; more important is the drive and determination to lead and motivate the team to deliver consistently high levels of performance to help make a difference to public health.
