St Peters Primary School is a small, friendly village school with a dedicated and self-motivated staff and happy, motivated children. We are committed to providing a learning environment where all our children feel valued and included.
We are looking to appoint a caring and capable person who enjoys supporting children in the learning environment. You will need to be experienced in working with children in a school environment and be sensitive to the difficulties experienced by children with special educational needs. The candidate must be experienced in covering the class on occasion for the teacher with a minimum of a TA level 3. The post will be part of a team supporting infant aged children (in a mixed Yr 1/Yr 2 class initially).
It is hoped that the successful applicant would be able to start as soon as possible.
In addition to the Teaching Assistant Post, there is a Midday Supervisor Role of 5 hours per week. Grade 1 point 1. Annual salary is £12,145 pro rata.
In total the two posts combined offer a permanent 30 hour/week contract, term time only.
