The Strategic Projects and Information Management team is responsible for managing information, systems and processes to support the Directorate for Children, Young People and Families. We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to support the implementation, development and promote the use of ContactPoint (a national system to enable integrated practice) and electronic Common Assessment Framework (a tool that facilitates assessments of children and young people’s additional needs). The post holder will ensure that business processes and access to quality data and information are made more efficient and effective through successful maintenance, development and administration. The provision of support functions for all stakeholders along with the delivery of training programmes are also key responsibilities. Educated to at least Level 3, experience of managing information in support of children’s services is essential. A reasonably broad and current knowledge of children’s social care and the integrated work programme is also a prerequisite, as is experience of working with external partners, suppliers and national bodies. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Interviews: week commencing 5 April 2010.
