You’ll be caring, enthusiastic and organised with excellent people skills, looking for a challenging role in a busy environment. You will be passionate about customer service excellence and will be a significant contributor to maintaining our current ‘A’ grade service. You will be responsible for assessing the needs & risks of potential residents and for the sign up process when an applicant has been accepted, as well as working on a rota basis providing housing related support cover for our 14 sheltered housing schemes – so access to a car, and flexibility, is essential. You will also be required to deputise for the Senior Supported Housing Officer whenever necessary. Full training will be provided. This post requires an Enhanced CRB check.
You must be able to demonstrate the following (there will be a test):
• Computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel and Word);
• The ability to discuss sensitive issues tactfully and calmly;
• Excellent organisational skills;
• Confidence, enthusiasm and a flexible approach;
• Excellent administration skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
• A proven ability to learn, and a willingness to utilise new ideas and ways of working;
• Good customer care skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Team player;
You will be passionate about deadlines and quality standards, establishing and maintaining effective communication and efficient record keeping systems, both paper driven and computer based.
