There are over 2700 highway structures in Kent. The inspection and maintenance of these structures is vital to the safe operation of the road network in the county. The Team Leader for Maintenance Works will be responsible for the delivery of the inspection and maintenance works programme both in terms of time and budget. This includes the management, procurement and implementation of operational maintenance, minor repair works and the timely repair of accidental damage. You would manage and procure a large and diverse inspection regime.
You should have extensive experience and successful track record of senior management in local government and/or other large complex organisations and extensive experience of managing and delivering maintenance services within highway structures environment.
