A temporary position for 8 months for a Street Works Technician has arisen for an approximate period of nine months in the Street Works section, part of the Environment Directorate.
Applicants must have relevant experience in a highway maintenance environment with sound knowledge of highway construction and maintenance methods. Accreditation under The New Roads and Street Works Act and experience in technical testing is essential. Applicants must also have a detailed knowledge of the various Codes of Practices associated with the New Roads and Street Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act and related legislation and experience working with street works noticing systems.
