South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) is looking for exceptional candidates to help write the next chapter for public transport in one of Britain’s most vibrant metropolitan regions.

You could be part of a new Sheffield-based team who will be responsible for charting the course and supporting delivery of our long-term strategies to create a world-class transport network.

Do you have the expertise to ensure that there is a clear evidence base to support all our strategic transport developments and decisions? If so, do you have proven experience in a
similar strategy and policy development role, as well as the following qualities?

  • Good partnership working skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of transport planning techniques
