An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Flood Risk Management Team for a senior officer to lead on a number of areas of activity, namely; Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Management Boards, Household Flood Protection Scheme, development of grant bids and involvement in other relevant initiatives that arise.
An awareness of the Draft Flood and Water Management Bill would be an advantage while a willingness to be flexible will be essential.
This post is open to Gloucestershire County Council Employees Only. Although this vacancy is permanent, a secondment could be considered.
