STATEGIC DIRECTOR OF ADULT SERVICES

SALARY: £120k

We are looking for a proven strategic leader to join an already exceptional high performing team.

As Strategic Director Adult Services you will lead the way as we improve services for adults in Manchester. In addition to a statutory role, you will have an integrated view on service delivery priorities such as worklessness and “Think Family”, as well as creating a joint commissioning platform with NHS Manchester, and working with the Manchester Adult Education Service.

You will be pushing for the highest standard of service, delivered by the best possible means, for the people and communities of Manchester. In fact you will be called upon to help transform the way we do business, with a major impact on customer care and the neighbourhood approach.

Naturally, we will not be handing this role to just anyone. Your sophisticated understanding of the issues at stake will have been forged by extensive experience; your demonstrable and highly visible leadership skills will enable you to create and drive change and turn policy into real improvements in services for our residents.
