The Children, Schools and Families Directorate pride itself in being an innovative and exciting Directorate within Tower Hamlets Council. As part of our ongoing development, we have created a Stakeholder Engagement and Participation service to promote our services to the children, young people and families of the Borough.
This new service will have overall responsibility for communication and consultation activity for the Directorate by developing best practice, providing advice and ideas and supporting services to ensure that service users are at the heart of service development and delivery.
As an experienced and professional communications and consultation specialist, you will be a proactive and dynamic individual with good organisational and marketing skills. You will be able to translate our vision through publications, press releases, marketing campaigns, on and offline media planning and buying and web development. You will project manage stakeholder events to include children, young people and their families as well as our partners whilst also providing innovative ideas to engage our target audiences.
You will be involved in developing systems to enhance the work of the team. You will lead on stakeholder consultation and ensure information is collated and evaluated in a coherent way.
You will have experience of writing strategy and communication documents, as well good project management skills. We are looking for individuals who are able to bring new ideas, passion and enthusiasm into the service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self starter who is looking to actively contribute to service delivery.
