The Barnet Early Autism Model (BEAM) is a home-based teaching service for preschool children with an Autism Spectrum Condition. We are looking for enthusiastic people with an interest in this area to deliver a structured and individualised early intervention programme principally in the home; working with a child and supporting the parents/carers. Some relevant previous experience is desirable. All programmes will be supervised by a specialist advisory teacher. Support and training will be provided.
Creative, with a positive and a “can do” attitude to work, you will be able to work as part of a team and also independently. You will have the ability to follow a structured programme and also take the initiative at times.
