This post is about negotiating placement costs with providers of services. You’ll be focusing on complex and high cost placement cases that are referred by social workers or care managers and it’ll be your responsibility to deliver the most appropriate, cost effective solution.

A proven Adult Social Care background will be key, along with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. An understanding of business is desirable

You’ll also be a confident communicator with the ambition to develop your social care career with a focus on procurement. Relevant and recent experience and a good level of education is important.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
