In Redbridge we are proud of our fully operational and integrated Children’s Trust, delivering joined up Health, Social Care and Education Services. Situated in an attractive part of North East London, serving a large diverse community, we are located just 20 minutes away by tube from Central London.

Joining us will give you the opportunity to participate in the continuous development of a multi-agency service and in return you will receive supportive management and access to quality training and development.

Due to the expansion of our Children’s Social Work teams, we are looking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic individuals.

As an experienced qualified and GSCC registered Social Worker you will join an established team of Child Protection & Assessment, Integrated Long Term Team or the Newly Looked After Children Team. All of the Initial Assessments for the borough are processed via the CPAT Duty Teams, whilst the Integrated Teams provide ongoing long term social care support and intervention for Child Protection, Child in Need and Court-Based Cases. The Newly Looked After Children Team provides a specialised service to children being looked after with the aim of early rehabilitation or efficient permanency planning.

Interviews will be held week commencing 4th and 10th May 2010.

Redbridge is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. These posts will require a CRB Disclosure check and references may be taken up prior to interview.
