You will be responsible for the assessment, supervision and support of family and friends foster carers and will have good assessment, writing and presentational skills.
You will be experienced in working with families in need, and confident in offering a range of advice and parenting strategies to families struggling to manage complex family dynamics and behaviours.
This is an exciting field of social work which is constantly developing as the particular demands of kinship care become more widely understood.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure check.
