The Royal Borough is committed to promoting and improving public health and this is an opportunity to play a crucial role in this vital area.
We need a proactive person to co-ordinate the Smokefree Homes Project, highlighting the dangers of secondhand smoke and helping those who want their homes to be smokefree to achieve this. You will be responsible for everything from developing a project action plan, managing funding and reporting progress to engaging with residents.
To succeed you will need a CIEH recognised degree or diploma in Environmental Health or an equivalent public health qualification, and recent experience of public sector project management, ideally gained in public health. Excellent communication and presentation skills and a good knowledge of smokefree legislation will also be required.
