SKILLED MOTOR MECHANIC – Ref. 4266
£27,782 per annum based on a 36 hour week + 8 hours contractual overtime per week, bonus, london weighting allowance, tool allowance and a linked attendance productivity payment.We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and skilled motor mechanic to join the Transport Services Team. You will be required to undertake a busy workload; the duties include the repair and maintenance of the Council’s diverse range of vehicles. Duties will include the pre- inspection; inspection and repair of all the Councils fleet of vehicles and plant, to undertake quality control inspections, prepare details of work required and estimates. To participate in the Borough’s standby service and gritting service on a rota basis and be prepared to work flexibly within the needs of the service.
Applicants must have relevant motor vehicle engineering experience and a full driving licence.
