Homelessness & Housing Advice Service
Single Homeless Intervention Prevention Officer
Temporary post for 12 months, 37 hours per week
This is a great opportunity to work in the Homelessness & Housing Advice fronline Team and play a key role in the prevention of homelessness in the city.
This post provides immediate apecialist housing advice & assistance to single persons
You will need:
- A working knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 Part V1 (Allocations) and V11 (Homelessness) as amended by the Homelessness Act 2002, and an understanding of the legislative framework, within which the service is delivered, as well as relevant case law and government guidance
- Experience of working within a customer driven fronline service
- An excellent communicator
