In Redbridge we are proud of our fully operational and integrated Children’s Trust, delivering joined up Health, Social Care and Education Services. Situated in an attractive part of North East London, serving a large diverse community, we are located just 20 minutes away by tube from Central London.

Joining us will give you the opportunity to participate in the continuous development of a multi-agency service and in return you will receive supportive management and access to quality training and development.

Reporting to the Head of Children’s Resource Centre (Social Care Lead) you will be responsible for the direct line management of 3 Integrated Team Managers as well as providing overall practice guidance across the Children’s Trust. The Integrated Teams provide ongoing social care support and intervention for child protection, child in need and court-based cases within a diverse community.

The role requires the postholder to ensure standards are maintained, casework is appropriately monitored and that everyone plays a key role in the provision of high quality child protection, assessment and support services. You will be experienced in court work as well as having a wide ranging experience of managing complex cases involving child protection, looked after children and children in need.

With current knowledge of the latest social work developments and legislation, you must be a qualified and GSCC registered Social Worker with a proven track record of staff management, including providing effective supervision and performance management.
