Newham is one of London’s most diverse and youngest boroughs and host to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are looking for talented individuals who share our commitment to making Newham a place where people choose to live, work and stay.

The Young Mayor scheme has been established in Newham for over 3 years, and is one of the most successful youth representation schemes in the country. Working within the Mayor’s Office, you will provide principal support to the Young Mayor and Youth Council, working with them to deliver their programme and effectively represent Newham’s young people.

Whether you have worked with politicians at a local level or within Whitehall or Parliament, we are looking for candidates who are excellent communicators, highly organised and have experience of working with young people, hopefully in youth representation.
