Senior Teaching Assistant

Location:Secondary Behaviour Management Team, Anne Peniket House, Gloucester.

Required for February 2009: an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant committed to helping students take responsibility for their own behaviour and learning.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work creatively with fellow professionals and students, and a desire to see students succeed.
Day to day work will include modelling good practice in the classroom, training fellow professionals, and working alongside teachers, teaching assistants and students to develop behaviour management strategies to promote learning.
A full induction programme will be offered and a high level of colleague support is available.
The interviews will be held on Tuesday 9th December 2008.
