This is a new and exciting post for a highly skilled communicator, project leader and negotiator. You will deliver outcomes on projects and negotiate with independent care providers when purchasing care and support services for individuals that are referred by social workers, and this will support the delivery of the most appropriate, cost effective solution. The successful candidate will assist the Specialist Team leader in the running of the team.
You will have excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different scenarios, and the ability to develop effective working relationships with care providers from the independent sector and staff within Adult Social Care. Evidence of data management knowledge is necessary. A sound knowledge of Adult Social Care and of business practices is essential.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
