Staffordshire is an important mineral producing County with a large number of waste management facilities and recycling centres.

Monitoring sites and enforcing planning control over mineral extraction and waste management facilities is a corner stone of the Development Control Service provided by this 4 star Development Services Directorate.

Are you a diligent, conscientious and committed individual with planning, enforcement or minerals and waste expertise?

If you relate well to people, are well organised and tenacious in following through problems to a conclusion and interested in a career in public service, working within the rugged on site world of quarrying and waste management, then an exciting opportunity exists for you in our pace setting Planning Regulation Team.

For an informal chat about this post contact Doug Walker on 01785 277294.

This Authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
