Community Learning and Information Service, Out of Hours Learning Network is seeking to appoint a Senior Out of Hours Learning Officer to support the learning needs of young people out of school hours. Sessions normally commence at 3-30pm during the week but some variations do exist particularly during school holidays.

Experience of working with young people is essential, as good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, ICT skills are advantageous. An understanding of National Curriculum is also desirable.

You will be expected to organise, encourage participation, promote and deliver out of hours learning sessions with young people, families, schools and related agencies. You will also be expected to monitor and record attendance at these sessions and provide information, each month, to Out of Hours learning Network Manager and or other senior officers within Community Learning & Information Services.
