EIS supports the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Kent and Medway schools and other centres through telephone help desk, remote management, on-site support, consultancy and training. The Schools Broadband team supports the provision of high quality broadband to Kent Schools.

We are seeking to recruit a senior network engineer to provide technical support, solution design and related advice and guidance to schools and other customers of the Schools Broadband Network, part of the Kent Public Service Network.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate an expert working knowledge of networking and security concepts with prior experience of configuring and supporting Cisco switches, routers and firewalls. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of PC and server architecture and current Windows server and desktop operating systems including Active Directory design and management.
