Tower Hamlets Legal Services is part of an excellent Council, always striving to deliver high quality services that support the aims and ambitions of our residents. We have a diverse community to serve with the desire to make Tower Hamlets the place that people want to live, work in and visit.
Following a recent reorganisation to ensure that our service reflects the corporate structure of the Council we have created a number of new posts to support the drive for efficiency and best practice as well as increase support in developing areas of our business.
This post will be required to undertake complex prosecutions ranging from benefit and blue badge fraud and health and safety issues to food safety. Some civil litigation matters may arise in the role. The successful applicant will have a high level of advocacy skills and be able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
We are looking for strong client care skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to achieve the outcomes sought by our clients.
Interviews will be held on 22 April 2010. You will be required to do an advocacy based exercise as part of the interview.
Equal Opportunities
We shall ensure fairness and equal opportunities throughout our workforce and in service delivery. We welcome applications from suitably skilled candidates regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability, sexuality, religion or age.
