Fixed term up to 12 months to cover maternity cover
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the employee relations team working in close partnership with the relevant Senior HR Business Partner.
You will be providing advice and guidance to managers on key issues including the application of procedures, in particular disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance management. You would also need to provide technical advice at disciplinary hearings and at grievance meetings.
You should have;
- A CIPD qualification at Chartered level
- Have a keen interest in providing support to managers on employee relations matters
- The passion to make a difference to meet the council’s overall sickness target
- The confidence to provide strong advice to managers
- A thorough working knowledge of the main employee relations procedures
