Senior Environmental Health Officer - Food & Safety

We are looking for an enthusiastic EHO committed to the highest professional standards to join the busy but friendly Food and Safety Team, within our Environmental Health & Licensing Division.
Reporting to the Food & Safety Manager, you will help co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Team, which include the enforcement of food safety and health and safety at work in commercial premises, investigation of accidents, inspections, infectious disease notifications, as well as responding to food and health and safety complaints. There will also be opportunities for involvement in health promotion projects and the development of the recently launched web based hygiene premises rating scheme.
You must be EHORB-registered and have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health. Possession of a post-graduate qualification in either food safety, or workplace health and safety, would be desirable.
