Architectural Services

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Architectural Services Unit for a Senior Building Services Engineer to manage a team of up to 2 building service engineers. To be responsible for the provision of full design and procurement services for mechanical and electrical installation on stand alone and major building projects. To contribute to the management and monitoring of the consultants framework agreement. To act as lead technical advisor for mechanical and electrical services on the Building Schools for the Future Programme. The successful applicant will be required to work on their own initiative making a wide range of complicated decisions at both management and project level.

To apply for the post of Senior Building Services Engineer, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 10 years wide experience in building services and project management.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of professional staff at all levels.
  • To be a Chartered Building Services Engineer with an appropriate degree in building services engineering or an equivalent qualification. Membership of CIBSE is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of statutory requirements in relation to mechanical and electrical services.
