We have a vacancy for a permanent secretary providing support to the members of the Departmental Management Team of Adult Social Care and Housing.

You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work in a pressured and sensitive environment, with the flexibility to give administration support for multi-managers. Good diary and time management is essential.

You will have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with the ability to produce a variety of documents to a high standard. You will also have experience of servicing meetings and communicating with all levels of the organisation.

Excellent word processing skills, copy and audio typing are essential requirements of this post as is a pleasant telephone manner and the ability to work efficiently within a team and on your own initiative.

You may be required, on occasion, to work from an alternate office base.
