Your responsibilities will involve patrolling the Promenade and foreshore areas on foot and on a bicycle to oversee safety, advise members of the public of the dangers of bathing in unsuitable areas and if suitably qualified assist anyone who may be in difficulty in the water.
You must be qualified in First Aid. It is desirable to hold a current RLSS Beach Lifeguard qualification or National Pool Lifeguard qualification.
You must be available to work a shift rota, which includes weekend working, for an average of 20 hours per week during July and August 2009.
