Headteacher Mr J Biddlestone BEd (Hons) NPQHRequired for 1st September 2009, a Science Technician to join a highly successful and supportive Science faculty of well-qualified staff. The duties include preparation of materials, assisting the science staff in setting up and trying out experiments, routine administration, maintenance and safety procedures.The Swinton High School is popular with a rising pupil roll, one of the most improved schools in the country. Recently awarded High Performing Specialist School status, we are also due to begin our second phase status as a specialist school for the arts. Ofsted inspectors commented in May 2007:- “Specialist status has a noticeable impact in many areas”.
