Schools Youth Worker

Applicants must have a JNC recognised Professional Qualification in Youth Work

An opportunity has arisen for a 15 hour Qualified Youth Worker to lead on delivery of youth work to meet the inclusion needs of young people from Guildford schools. Applicants must have extensive experience of schools based youth work and be able to initiate and manage the delivery of targeted programmes to young people from across the Borough.

This post is part of the Guildford Youth Development team and the successful candidate will be working with other experienced youth workers to develop, deliver and evaluate this new youth work programme in Guildford.

The post will involve working with targeted groups and applicants must have previous experience of schools youth work and be a nationally qualified JNC youth worker.

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and POCA check will be required for this role.
