This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Schools HR Team in delivering an effective and comprehensive operational HR service to schools in Salford. You will be joining an innovative and forward thinking HR function as it moves into a new service delivery model for HR.Working closely with Headteachers, Governing Bodies and colleagues across the City Council, you will plan and develop the work of the team and continuously review working practices to ensure excellent service delivery to schools.You will have a clear understanding of the issues facing schools together with practical experience of working with Headteachers and Governors to resolve complex workforce matters, and will have the ability to manage and mediate sensitive issues.You will have highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills enabling you to communicate with impact.
