At Havering we have established a positive Health and Safety culture within our schools and deliver a high standard of service to them.

We offer schools strategic initiatives, provide professional advice and guidance to head teachers,governors, senior managers and staff, as well as providing a comprehensive range of training.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional to play a key role in delivering this work as part of a small team working within schools and similar educational premises.

Experience of working within schools, whilst not essential,would be advantageous.

You should be a highly motivated and creative individual with experience of working as a health and safety professional. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be organised and able to work with limited direction.

You should hold, as a minimum, the NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, and have demonstrable experience of working within the health and safety field, preferably within a large multi-site organisation.

A sound knowledge of current health and safety legislation is essential, together with excellent team working and presentation skills.
