We are looking for a School Appeals & Member Support Officer to service School Admission & Exclusion Appeals and to provide a support service to elected Members.
You will need to demonstrate initiative and be able to develop professional working relationships with elected Members from parties, co-opted representatives, senior officers across the Council and representatives of the Council’s partners.
You will work with minimal supervision and have regular contact with parents, School Appeals Panel Members and Education Officers. You will also work with officers within the Democratic Services team, the Chief Executive and Directors. A flexible approach to the duties of the post is therefore vital.
