In North East Lincolnshire we have established a unique and exciting partnership working between the Local Authority and the Care Trust Plus. As a school health nurse you will work with other school nurses as part of Children’s Services to meet the health needs of school aged children. This arrangement within Children’s Services retains the NHS Agenda for Change pay and NHS pension benefits for the post holders (subject to individual application)..
This post requires a first level registered nurse with an interest in the current national and local health and children’s agenda including safeguarding children. The post holder will require good team working, communication and organisational skills to support the school nurse team with health promotion and public health interventions in a variety of settings for children and their families. An induction programme will be provided to introduce the post holder into the role with training opportunities and further professional development offered.
