| Location | Rochford is situated 35 miles from London and 5 miles from Southend-on-Sea on the main Liverpool Street Line. Contained with a 65 square mile area the District includes the historic towns of Rayleigh and Rochford, a number of smaller villages and the island of Foulness. It's boundaries are the River Crouch to the north and Southend-on-Sea to the south. There are three main line stations within the district and good connection to the M25/M11 motorways. | ||

You will be part of a team responsible for administering Council Tax and Housing Benefits on behalf of the Council. This will include maintaining Council Tax accounts and assessing customer’s entitlement to Housing benefit and Council Tax benefits. You will also assist in improving the customer experience for the public that visit our offices.
You will have good computer skills. A background in local government, with knowledge of Council Tax or Housing Benefit would be an advantage. A full training and development programme will be provided for the successful applicant.
