About the job
Working with our dedicated staff at Merrifield House in Hayes you’ll be part of a team who provide care and support to approx seven Children and young people (per shift) aged between 5 years and 18 years, all of whom have complex additional needs. In this rewarding role you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high level of care/support is consistently delivered & maintained to the young people whilst working within a team, setting examples of good practice.
About the person
Ideally with previous experience in residential care you will have life and / or work experience of vulnerable children with challenging behavior. Along with an NVQ level 3 in childcare, or the commitment to achieving the Quality Credit Framework Level 3 Diploma. Your knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent development in a multi-cultural society and your passion to make a real difference will be critical to you success in this role.
