Relief Waste Operative
£17,619 to £18,469 a year for 44 hours a week
We are looking for a Relief Waste Operatives to carry out a variety of waste collection, street cleaning and recycling duties with a total commitment to customer care, quality and service excellence.
It is essential that you possess a minimum class C1 driving licence (up to 7.5 tonnes GVW). It is important that you are able to cope with what can be a very physically demanding outdoor job in all weathers and with punctual early morning, 6.00 am, starts.
There will be a requirement for keeping good records and working both alone and as part of different teams. Maintaining a good image for the Council is important as are: keeping yourself and others safe, caring for the environment and working within all of the Council’s policies including Comprehensive Equalities.
