We are looking to add to our team of Waking Night Relief Support Workers within our Learning Disability services. Being on the “Relief” staff means that you can chose which shifts you want to work from those that need covering each month, on an as-and-when required basis.
You will need to understand the challenges faced by adults with a Learning Disability and have the ability to enable people to overcome them. You will need to support individuals throughout the night and remain alert and responsive to individuals needs throughout the shift.
This is a fun, varied and active role which, although can be challenging at times, is rewarding in the fact that you are having a positive impact on people’s lives.
You should be proactive, enthusiastic and committed, with the determination to drive this service forward.
The service operates seven days a week and there will be various shifts to meet the needs of the service, which include bank holidays.
