Soham & Bottisham, Burwell and Cheveley Area Children’s Centres are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated early years practitioners, qualified to level 2 in childcare and early years education, who can provide care and support to children and families attending crèches running through the Children’s Centres.

The role of Children’s Centres is to improve outcomes for all young children, from birth to age five, and to reduce inequalities in outcomes between children growing up in disadvantage and the wider population. The centres provide a focus for multi-agency teams to deliver integrated services to young children and their families

The purpose of this role is to care for children in the Children’s Centre Crèche provision by:
-Providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children in the crèche and to offer care and support for the children in the crèche;
-Supporting the Senior Crèche Worker as required to ensure all crèches are run within Cambridgeshire Children’s Centre policies and guidelines;
-Supporting the crèche with basic administrative tasks, attending meetings, and maintaining resources.
-Providing and leading a range of play activities which meet the individual needs of the children in the crèche
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated crèche workers who can be part of the team running crèches alongside children’s centre activities.

The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 2 in childcare and early years education, or equivalent qualification.
