Children’s First Response Team

Vacancies in the Buxton Road teams until:-

RASO POST 1 FRT 2 until 30.07.2010
RASO POST 2 FRT 2 until 02.02.2011

The Children First Response Team receives referrals from members of the public and professionals who are worried about the safety of a child. Working as part of a team, you will deal with referrals concerning child protection, parent-child conflict, domestic violence and families with no recourse to public funds.

Your specific role will be to screen calls from referrers, deal with callers to reception, gather information from service users, partner agencies and operate the client data-base system. Off duty, you will assist social workers with a range of tasks on their cases.

Good inter-personal skills, ability to use the ICS system and personal resilience are required for these posts and there is some late office working on the duty week.
