In this role you will provide specialist advice on the refurbishment and maintenance of the Council owned assets and asset management programme. Specifically you will work on the preparation of feasibility estimates and cost plans, tender and contract documents, manage and act as lead consultant on specific contracts, undertake interim valuations of project cost implications and deal with any variation in contracts. You will also support Management in the delivery of key strategic projects including the new district leisure facility.
With a relevant degree or chartered status, RICS and 2 years post qualification experience, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of contractual law issues and have experience in producing contract documents. In addition you will be able to demonstrate strong project management and negotiation skills. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
