Following a review of Financial Management, self motivated individuals are required to join teams who have a track record of service improvement and to be part of the new value focused service. The role will manage the purchase to pay team working to minimise system error, maintain the integrity of data and ensure that payments are made to suppliers for goods and services accurately and within performance timelines.  The role will also seek to continuously improve the management information provision and accessibility and exploit the functionality of the Council’s main ledger, purchase to pay and procurement systems. Successful candidates will thrive on change and be able to meet the continuous improvement challenge, bringing creativity and innovation to their respective roles. Other requirements include AAT or part-qualified CCAB (diploma level) or equivalent in terms of experience, and evidence of continued professional development, significant experience of working in a finance function and direct experience of managing a purchase to pay team.
