This is an opportunity to work within an award winning Borough in a key role in our Parks and Countryside service. As Projects Officer you will need to demonstrate good understanding of the issues involved in managing outdoor recreation and creating a quality environment. You’ll use your IT skills and knowledge of the environment to analyse data and produce reports, and develop projects to maintain and improve quality standards. With excellent communication skills you’ll liaise with the public, produce press releases and maintain the website and Local Countryside Access Forum.
You’ll also be involved in obtaining funding and entering initiatives to maintain the high profile of our award winning service, and any other duties that ensure we are at the forefront of outdoor recreation and green space management.
