The Transport for Surrey Service leads the Council’s thinking on Transport policies and strategies. This is an exciting and challenging role within Transport for Surrey, providing an opportunity for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude coupled to technical aptitude.
You will be a member of the team, providing transport policy expertise and managing the development and delivery of programmes and major transport projects to set timescales.
This will include analysis of issues, identification and assessment of options together with a well-scoped implementation plan. You will ensure that all projects are scoped, resourced and delivered using consistent project initiation, project planning, issue/risk management and analysis and outcomes are delivered to an excellent standard.
You will also be the project manager for one or more of the hubs and manage the diverse activities that contribute to the successful delivery of major projects of this nature. This will require demonstrable skill in communicating with and influencing colleagues in a matrix management approach to project delivery.
