£24,430 – £27,046 pa with opportunity to progress to £27,883 – £30,337 pa upon successful completion of competency
A strong team player, you will contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the private sector housing team. You will manage a busy caseload, focused on responding to enquiries and complaints and carrying out investigations and inspections of private sector housing, including Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) and other rented properties. You may also help deliver the Council’s Housing Assistance policy, including the processing of Disabled Facilities Grants.

Ideally with a recognised qualification in a relevant field, you will be able to demonstrate a consistent and successful record in previous posts and you will have a sound knowledge of one or more aspects of construction technology and recognised office protocols. You will also be IT literate with good interpersonal skills, a flexible outlook. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
