Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery in West London is Ealing’s flagship cultural centre, comprising the Grade 1 listed Pitzhanger Manor-House, once owned and designed by Sir John Soane and PM Gallery, West London’s largest gallery space programming exhibitions of contemporary art, design and architecture.
As part of the arts and heritage service you will be responsible for all aspects of the co-ordination of the weddings and private hire events taking place at the venue.
The private events coordinator manages all aspects of the private, commercial and internal room hires at the venue and oversees the supervision of a wide range of events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, meetings, conferences and film and photo shoots.
You will liase with clients, suppliers and colleagues to ensure we deliver memorable and quality events for our customers offering the highest standards of customer service at all times.
You will also be responsible for promoting the use of the venue for private hire to ensure income targets are reached. Working with the Manager you will develop, implement and oversee an on-going marketing campaign in order to raise the profile of the venue and increase usage.
You will have a qualification in Events Management or substantial experience in the area, first class communication skills and customer service experience within a sales orientated environment.
You will also have experience in marketing similar services to clients. Experience of managing events within a listed building would also be desirable.
