We are a very busy disabled children’s team working across Thanet, Swale, and Canterbury. We are seeking to appoint a practitioner who has experience of Child Protection, LAC, proceedings and providing advice and guidance and supervision to Social Workers and Social Work Assistants.

Developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues in health, education and other Children and Families teams will be part of your remit and you will be expected to represent the team at multi- disciplinary meetings at a strategic level. You will work closely with the other PSW and Team Leader in achieving the team’s aims.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Criminal Records Bureau and to registration as a qualified Social Worker with the General Social Care Council.
